What is dandruff?
It is a condition of the scalp, where the skin becomes dry and flaky. It affects almost all age groups.
Causes of Dandruff
Dandruff is caused due to fungal infection (Malassezia fungus), which feeds on the natural oil called sebum that is secreted by the sebaceous glands of the scalp.
Symptoms include scaling and itching of the scalp. Dandruff causes scalp to appear dry and flaky. These dandruff flakes are seen and scattered throughout the scalp. more effectively.  Constant application (2-3
times a week) will leave your hair free from dryness, itching and irritation.
Aloe vera and Neem – Applying fresh aloe
vera gel to the scalp will significantly reduce the inflammation and itchiness
of the scalp.   Mix 10-12 drops of neem oil with aloe vera and
apply on the affected areas of the scalp. 
Neem oil will soothe the irritated scalp and aloe vera conditions the scalp.
Fenugreek seeds – Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight
in a bowl of water.  Grind the soaked seeds
to a fine paste and add 5 ml of coconut oil to the mix. Apply this mixture to the
scalp and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo
and condition. Let your hair air dry. You can use 1-2 times a week.
Eating more probiotics - Probiotics might assist to improve immune system, which
might assist the physique combat towards the fungal infections that trigger dandruff.

1. Start washing your hair often, regularly.
