How to be consistent with workouts – 5 Proven Tips
Consistency is the key to success, which is a well-known quote. This is applicable to each and every commitment that we make in our day-to-day routine. At certain point of time, each and every one of us takes resolution of doing certain things for our own betterment, but what we lack is consistency towards the commitment.
One
such commitment in which we all fail to be consistent is workout.  Due to increasing health concerns, we all are
very much aware of the advantages of routine body workout, but we still fail to
be consistent in our task of being fit.  There
is something inside of you that is greater than the obstacle.
Always
take care of your body for it is the only place where you live.  Fitness
must become an important part of your life,
whether you’re trying to stay fit, lose weight, or want to relax after a hectic
day.  Fitness is about being better than
you used to be.
Results
won’t come overnight or from what you do occasionally, but it comes from what
you do consistently.  Consistent actions
will give you consistent results.  To achieve
desired results, you don’t need to be extreme, just being consistent is more
than enough.
Lack of
consistency can bring lack of interest.   We do interesting things only when it is
convenient for us, whereas in commitment, there are no excuses.  When you replace excuses with effort and
laziness with determination, everything will fall into place.  Consistency is simply refusing to give up.
5 secrets to be consistent in your fitness program
Always start
with the shorter workouts.

Avoid Overblown
commitments.  Overblow commitments
can be scaled down.  Instead of doing 40
minutes of cardio, go for 20 minutes of it.
This certainly won’t make you exhaust, and in turn when you find this
activity enjoyable, you will automatically increase the time and level of your
activity.
Start with small
plan slowly and then increase gradually.
Don’t stick to
the boring old routine.  Explore
some new sessions in your workouts such as aerobics, Zumba, etc. which
will make your workouts more interesting, enjoyable and fun filled.
Commit for 21-30
days of workout
because for a human being it will take at least 21-30 days to build up any
habit.   Just keep going to create this habit.  Once you are habitual to body workouts, you will
never skip this routine.
Start now, not tomorrow because tomorrow never
comes !!!
