Positive parenting tips for the new mom's

As a mother, you are trying to support your child in physical, social and emotional development.

The developmental milestone of a child from sitting to crawling to walking, talking, laughing, each and every stage of your infant is the developmental milestone.  Mom is sole responsible for reaching the successful developmental milestone.

Here are some few important positive parenting tips for the new moms.

Touch and Care

Cuddle your kids as much as you can.  Let them feel the warmth of your love in cuddles and hugs.

Try to control your facial expressions in front of your baby, mostly the negative facial expressions.  Babies can recognize the difference between the sadness and happiness.

Always give positive response to your babies whenever they produce sounds or babbles.

Talk and Sing for your dear ones

Intention follows actions.  Hence, it is always appreciative to show your love and care through action.

Spend quality time with your infants and talk to them whenever you feel like.

Talking to babies will help integrate their brain.

Sing and play music for your infant.

Vision, motor skills, hearing and communication skills will improve when you talk to them.

Playful naughty love

Play with your infants often.  Throw a cute smile on them so that they can respond back, and obviously they will respond.

When babies felt irritated or tired while playing, move them from their place or change the location in order to take a break from playing.

Keep your baby active as much as possible just by moving her little arms and legs and this will help your baby to become strong.

Praise your baby as much as possible and give them attention.

Express your enthusiasm and joy with them.

Making funny faces will draw your baby's attention.

Hard to hear, but true

Sometimes baby may keep awake during the night which makes parents a bit irritated.  The more you become irritated, you are more likely complicating the situation.

If you want your baby to grow healthy and happy, give your baby a blissful attention every time.

Always try to calm your crying baby smoothly.  This is how you are going to tackle the witching hour.

Let's not allow your baby to cry unnecessarily.  Try to find out the cause and resolve it swiftly.

Each kid is different in its characteristic, looks, behavior, sleeping pattern, eating pattern, etc. and so each child is a unique child.  Let’s not confuse ourselves by comparing our kids with others.

Do’s and Don’ts

Make sure to feed your baby on time without allowing them to cry with hunger.

Keep your baby awake during feedings.

Try to avoid screen time or use any screen media as it is not good for the babies younger than eight months.

Make sure that your baby gets good enough sleep.

Know the body language and expression of your child clearly so that you can do a better parent service without giving any space for frustration and irritation.

Avoid negative facial expressions as kids seem to be more responsive only to the positive expressions rather than your negative emotions.

Happy parenting…
