Blackhead prevention during winter
In Winter, our skin dries out relatively much faster when compared to any other season. During winter, your skin become dehydrated. Your skin tends to produce more sebum. Sebum is nothing but oily substance that secretes from the facial skin, and it is the main reason for aggravation of acne. Winter is not only going to aggravate acne formation, but it will also pave way for the deposition of dirt in the skin pores which in turn leads to blackheads and whiteheads. The skin will produce more sebum during winter because of the drier conditions and you're more likely to suffer clogged pores. During winter, it is very crucial to keep your skin clean from dust particles that are suspended freely in the air and can easily clog the pores. This dirt accumulation in open pores of the skin causes blackheads. Anyone can have blackheads in spite of age differences and this can be seen on all skin types. These blackheads often get infected with clogged pores, sebum, oils, etc. Infected pores may often develop into painful cyst. Face with lots of blackheads and whiteheads will give your face a dull appearance and tiny black and white spots especially on the T-region of face.

winter
During winter, try to avoid exfoliation as much as
possible because this will make your skin much drier and worse. If your skin condition still demands exfoliation,
then don’t forget to ice the area after exfoliation in order to close the open
pores.
Keep your skin oil-free.
Wash
your face with oil-free facewash before bedtime, after wakeup, after exercise, and
of course after sweating.
Always
try wearing oil-free sunscreen every day.
Wash your pillow covers or change them more often to
prevent blackheads and acne formation from the dirt present in the pillow covers.
