How to Stop Heartburns Pain Naturally!!!



What is heartburn?

When the acid in the stomach flows back and spatter in the esophagus, then the condition is called heartburn.  Sometimes it accompanies with a hiccup followed by burning sensation in the chest. 
Heartburn is nothing but acid indigestion.  It is also called acid reflux.  Heartburn can cause burning and stabbing sensation in the chest.  It can cause severe pain and discomfort.

Heartburn is a general symptom of gastroesophageal acid reflux disease (GERD) and acidity.  This may be due to various reasons, but the main reason is food habit.  Several other reasons are obesity, smoking, alcohol, stress, and certain medications.  Simple lifestyle and dietary modifications can help alleviate the heartburn naturally.  Heartburn is also an outcome of binge eating, but if it occurs subsequently, it will damage the inner lining of esophagus and makes the condition even worse. Sometimes heartburn is accompanied with nausea and vomiting sensation.  Heartburn is often accompanied with chest pain, throat pain, and sour burps.  Natural remedies are available to put an end to this heartburn.

Baking Soda Gulp.  Mixing baking soda with water can help alleviate the symptoms of acid reflux.  Since the pH level of baking soda is high, it will neutralize the acid in the stomach and gives instant relieve from heartburn.

Aloe Vera Juice.  This is a very old time tested remedy for heartburn.  This soothes the pain and irritation caused by heartburn.

Ginger Tea.  It alleviates the production of acid in the stomach.   It reduces any inflammation in the esophagus and stomach caused by acid spill.  It has natural anti-inflammatory properties.  Sip on a cup of caffeine-free ginger tea for instant relief of heartburn symptoms.

Yoghurt.  You can use yoghurt as much as possible.  It will provide soothing effect to your stomach and esophagus by calming down the irritation.  It contains high amount of probiotics which is good for digestive health and boost your immune system.  It decreases the production of acid supply.

Almond Milk.  Almond milk is beneficial when it comes to heartburn symptoms.  Almond milk has alkaline composition.  Almond milk seems to be advantageous by relieving acidity symptoms and neutralizing the stomach acidity.

Coconut Water.  Coconut water is rich in electrolytes.  These electrolytes help in controlling acid reflux.

Fresh Fruits.  Fruits like banana, melons, and apples have natural antacids.  These fruits are alkaline in nature, hence maintains good pH balance.  Banana has high fiber contents which strengthens your digestive system.

Green Vegetables.  Green leafy vegetables, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes have low fat and sugar content, thus alleviates the symptoms of heartburn.

Oatmeal.  Oatmeal has a tendency to absorb stomach acid and reduce the reflux symptoms.  Starting your day with oatmeal will reduce the acid reflux symptoms.

Grab Healthy fats.  Nuts, olive oil, flax seeds, chia seeds, walnuts etc. contains healthier unsaturated fats, which can reduce the symptoms of heartburn and good for digestive health.

Sleeping Position.   When you are suffering from heartburn, try to keep your sleeping positions right.  Do not lie flat on the bed.  Keep your head in an elevated position by adding an extra pillow while sleeping.  Always sleep in an inclined position.  This will lower the chance of reflux of acid from the stomach to esophagus.
