Proteinaceous Prawn Biryani Recipe
Today, I am up with another healthy and delicious seafood recipe, which
is highly nutritious, proteinaceous, especially for briyani lovers. Yes, it is none other than prawn briyani
recipe. Come, let’s enjoy this best seafood
recipe.
Ingredients
· Oil
- 1/2 cup
· Cinnamon
- 2 small pieces
· Cardamom
- 4
· Cloves -
4
· Onion
- 3 large - sliced
· Ginger
Garlic Paste - 1/4 cup
· Tomato
- 3 large - cubed
· Chilli
Powder - 1 tablespoon
· Garam
Masala Powder – 1/2 tablespoon
· Salt
to taste
· Curd
– 1/2 cup
· Lemon
Juice - 2 tablespoon
· Coriander
Leaves - 1 cup
· Mint
Leaves – 1 cup
· Green
Chillies - 2 slit
· Basmati
Rice - 4 cups (Soak in water for 15 minutes)
· Water
- 8 cups
· Prawn
- 1 kg (Wash and keep it aside)
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a thick
bottomed pan.
2. Once
the oil is heated well, add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and let it sizzle.
3. Now
add in sliced onion and salt to it. Stir it well until the onion
turns golden brown.
4. Now
add ginger garlic paste and mix well. Keep stirring the mixture for
2-3 minutes.
5. Add
in tomatoes and mix well until it gets mushy.
6. Add
in curd and lemon juice. Mix well.
7. Now
add in prawns and mix well till it starts oozing out oil.
8.
Add coriander, mint leaves and green
chillies. Stir it well.
9. Add
water and bring it to boil for about 20 minutes and keep aside.
10. Now
cook the rice separately and drain the water.
Cool it.
11. Now layer the rice on the prepared prawn gravy. Keep it in simmer for 10 minutes.
12. Remove from heat and fluff the rice.
13. Serve
hot.
