Almonds – half a cup (cut into small pieces)

Groundnut – half a cup

Dates – one cup

Walnut – half a cup (exceptional)

Raisins (Dry grapes) – half a cup

Method of preparation

Take a wide pan, heat 3 teaspoons of ghee.  Fry pistachio in low flame for 2-3 minutes till it becomes little crispy.  Just remove the fried pistachio alone from the pan and keep aside.

In the remaining ghee, roast almonds, cashew nuts and groundnuts, for 2-3 minutes till you smell the nice aroma, and keep aside.

Fry raisins in the same pan till it swells and keep separately.

Now, fry the dates separately for 1-2 minutes till you smell the nice aroma, and keep aside.  Once cool, grind the dates to coarse and keep separately.

Now allow all the dry fruits to cool.  Once cool, mix all the fried dry fruits in a bowl and then add ground dates to it.

Add half a teaspoon of cardamom power to the smashed dry fruits and mix it well.  Smash the ingredients well with fingers like dough.

Make laddus with pressing against your palms.  Delicious laddus are now ready to consume.

Place it in an airtight container and consume it.  The shelf life of this laddus is 15 days.
