This is Reenu….came with surprisingly easy tips and remedies to keep your dark lips at bay.  Hope you will surely find these article very useful to get that luscious pink lips, which every woman flaunts.  When you think of pink, the very next thing that comes to your mind is pinky lips.  Definitely pink lips are very appealing.  Women always desire to have rosy, soft and supple lips.  Lips are more sensitive when compared to the skin of other areas and hence they need extra attention and care.  Lips lose its color and texture mainly due to sun exposure, smoking, certain medications, unhealthy habits, left over lip makeup, and age factor. 

You can get plumpy pink lips with the natural remedies given below…

Lemon, Sugar and Honey scrub – Mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with a half teaspoon of sugar.  Apply this mixture to the lips and scrub it gently so that it exfoliates your lips thoroughly.  Scrub it for at least 5 minutes in a gentle manner.  This will gently exfoliate your lips.  Leave it for 10 minutes.  Wash off with water.  Pat dry your lips and apply honey.  Honey is a natural moisturizer and will keep your lips soft and luscious.  You can do this twice a week for fruitful results.


Olive Oil and Honey:  Take 2 ml of olive oil and 2 ml of honey.  Mix them well and apply this mixture directly on to the lips.  Leave it for 10 minutes.  Wash it off with water.  It will instantly moisturize your lips.  You can do this every alternate day for better moisture lock.

Rosewater:   Soak a cotton ball in rosewater and dab on to the lips directly.  Wipe your lips with rosewater daily for problem-free plumpy lips everyday.

Almond Oil:  Almond oil is the rich source of vitamin E and hence moisturizes the lips very well.  Apply a few drops of almond oil directly over the lips and leave it overnight.  You will wake up with soft, smooth lips for sure.  You can do this daily before going to bed.

Sugar and Honey Scrub:  Make a paste with honey and sugar in equal amount and use it as a natural scrub.  Apply on to your lips and leave it for 10 minutes.   Wash your lips with water.  You can do this twice a week.  This will remove the dead cells and heal chapped lips.  This will give a smooth glossy texture to your lips.  Sugar is a natural scrub and honey is a moisturizer. 

Coconut Oil and Castor Oil:  Apply few drops of coconut oil or castor oil directly over the lips and leave it overnight.  It works well on chapped lips.  It will condition and soothe the lips.

Aloe Vera:   If you need more hydration for your lips, mix aloe vera gel with coconut oil or olive oil.  It will do wonders for chapped and irritated lips.

Cucumber:  It you have tanned lips, apply cucumber juice directly on to the lips everyday.  This will lighten the tanned lips.

Stay Hydrated:  Drink water and stay hydrated!!!
